Historic 911 Rally build

I guess the build thread has jumped a bit, but I entered Tour Britannia at the start of the year, and last few weeks had to get a wiggle on to finish it !

Here are a few pictures from last week

Looks great Phil,

P.s. the wing turned up to day cheers! Your couriers are crap though it turned up with only half a box, no damage luckily

a couple of action shots from the race at Croft during Tour Britannia, the pictures don't show too well but it was fairly wet !

I considered various options available for an exhaust for the SCR.

The brief was to achieve maximum mid-range torque, less than 105dB, a repackable final silencer and lightweight.

This layout is not strictly in accordance with the homolgation documents so for FIA events we have a system in reserve, but this system will be used for all other events and track-days etc.

The design was considered and we opted for a stepped primary header, equal length (design optimised), a three into one merge collector, then a two into one merge into a final silencer.
This system was hand fabricated in-house, we plan to produce a jig for future supply

We acheived our goals, this was the system that I ran in the Tour Britannia event, it was tested at 102dB and we recently had the car on the dyno and we acheived a good 20bhp increase over the previous system we had on the car (RSR style headers with a 2 in 2 out silencer).
It would be interesting to try this system in place of a standard road system, we do plan this for the future, but as yet its not done. I am certain the gains will be substantial.

Here are a couple of pictures showing the detail

Congrats!

Great advert for the business.

The car looks fantastic in the action pics and I am pleased you are enjoying some success with it. Would love to see it in the flesh sometime. Congrats and well done
