DMS Automotive have been at the forefront of upgrading European cars for many years now, we hope this site gives you a better insight in to our company. You will find details of a wide range of the models we cover, and also the many press reviews we have received.
ABOUT US We are an internationally operating company with our headquarters and main research and development facilities situated in the UK.

Established by software and microelectronics engineer Rob Young, the company’s new half-million pound test centre features a state of the art four-wheel drive, load-controlled dynamometer, or rolling road. We also use all of the very latest diagnostics equipment from BMW, Porsche, VAG and other makes.

Having the latest in technology means we can create some of the most sought after upgrades for European cars. We offer our services throughout Europe and worldwide, overseas customers can contact us on +44 845 850 1845.

We have extensive practical experience working with some of the latest engine management systems, and we are ideally placed to offer our customers the best possible advice. By supplying the best upgrades at the right price we have developed an enviable reputation for having the best service and after sales support in the business.

Allowing DMS to release your engine’s natural potential couldn’t be simpler. Our software engineers spend months creating and refining new management programs for individual engines and models. It has packages to suit an incredible range of cars, from small turbodiesels to the latest supercars. In most cases, development work on the software starts well before the first examples of a new model are delivered, so the extensive on-road testing program can begin as soon as the first cars arrive. Lucky buyers at the head of the queue for hot new models can often have their cars upgraded by DMS within a few weeks of the first deliveries.

Our trained, experienced DMS engineers can visit you anywhere in the world, or you can call into the Southampton headquarters or one of our many other locations throughout the UK or worldwide.

IMO this should always be done to get the best out of the car, before to make sure all is Ok & after to check improvement & smoothness of delivery

Exactly what Rob suggested when i mentioned my car had only Dyno'd 500bhp.. a full health check first and then any remedial work first to get it healthy(if required)

As was said by Thorney on the day :-

1] No one knew what fuel was in it---very important in a GT2

2] It was making more power each run as the ECU learned--saw no knock and advanced ignition

3] The car had only been pussyfooted by its previous owner.

4] You only pussyfooted it down from Leicester as it was freezing out.

5] Not sure on 997GT2 but 996GT2 came with delivery code in the ECU which the dealer unlocked. Yours may be the same ? Saw a 996 GT" which still had "delivery code" in it at 15,000 miles :haha:

So no need to panic, get 2 or 3 tanks of V-Power through it and a few good hidings, full throttle high load, high boost to max revs from 3rd upwards and it will soon have all the beans

I am really looking forward to the dry season (won't say Summer cos we don't get them any more) and a chance to use warm tyres and on dry tarmac.. :D ... Didn't stop me and GT2 Dan , wringing its neck when out on the 19th December.. :D

There will be more Partners in here than Members who post soon.

Actually they're giving it to me for nothing, along with a week in barbados with Girls Aloud, who are banned from wearing any clothes (even the ugly ginger one)

I've just not told Rob about it yet.. :tu

And given how much money you've creamed out of this forum and it's members mate (must be well into 6 figures by now )? You'd think you could cough up a few quid to help pay for us Mods to spend the weekend in Monaco on a yacht or something ? ;)
