I can't believe it's been 25 years since this, I can still remember it quite vividly, certainly the first war I can remember and one I followed day by day. I've still got some of the newspaper cuttings I collected at the time :)

Still one of the best mobilisation of armed forces ever since from a single power, at the time we were in a shitty state, totally ill-prepared to do battle, but nevertheless we did with some amazing acts of bravery!

Our lads were down to 6 rounds each and had already fixed bayonets in some parts. In the early 1990's most of them had done the Gulf as well and ended up training the new recruits atplaces like Catterick and Aldershot:)

They dont make Soldiers like them anymore:evil:

You sank my battleship:finger

Fecking south Americans, why cant we do the same with the middle east:wall

I couldn't believe that after the Atlantic Conveyor was sunk that the Marines and Paras were carrying 50-60 kilo packs and their weapons

I thought it was what made Britain great again, and made me so proud and humble to be above all British, and I wouldnt want to be anything else, other than Welsh British,

Our boys were amazing, and sad for those that were lost

I remember it just about - we did a project all about it at junior school and my best pals older brother was killed :(
