BDM Audi S3 Endurance Race car project

Why no DSG Mark ?? best thing about the supercopa IMO and worth so much in lap times / reliablilty over a 24hr surely

Maybe Clive. The DSG box is 21kg's heavier than the manual which is a bit of an issue when we are carrying Quattro too. We will also look at Sequential. Just weighing up options and cost is a bit of an issue at the moment...

It's been pretty busy here for the past few months and I've not had much chance to update this thread but we continue to make slow progress on the car when we get a spare hour or two. Some pictures for you to take a look at...

We now have all the corners on the car. The H&R race suspension arrived before Christmas as did the AP brake kit. You can also see we have a set of centre lock adaptors which should me mean faster wheel changes.

Adjustable top mount suspension all looks very nice and gives us more options with geometry.

The standard steering column required modification but is now all in and working.

Brake lines, extinguisher & battery are all plumbed into position.

Fuel tank and dry-brake quick-fill fuel system are in.

New massive front mount intercooler and alloy radiator.

And here she is... as it stands at the moment.

We have a carbon bonnet, custom wheels and plexi glass on order which should be with us soon. Now that it's starting to look like a car again Im getting all excited and ready to get behind the wheel. :drive:

Update with some pictures of the new logos...

The car is going to be used to promote the VAG tuning parts shop on our website that Maxine is busy updating for us.

Still not sure what it will be raced in. We may even sell the car to be run by us for a customer.

We still have a few jobs left to do before the first shake down. Full flat floor and rear diffuser, engine running in, some electrical work and trim, carbon door cards etc
