Another good year - thanks PGT

I’ve been a sponsor here for 14 years now and I am very grateful for the support and business we receive here at BDM and the support and banter I enjoy personally.
I don’t get to post that much about work and projects - I’m not much of an internet warrior either.
As you all probably know I deal with most top end sports and luxury brands, from basic servicing to full engine rebuilds.
One of my regular jobs is probably my least profitable, but most satisfying. I mostly do Ferraris, some Lamborghinis and a few McLarens. It’s when the crinkle paint starts to flake off the intake Plenham on the top of the engine. It is so nice to get it back to pristine. The job itself can be a major fiddle depending on the model. So I thought I would share a few before and after pics.
I’ve still got a full week in next week and a few days between Xmas and new year. So for now, merry Xmas and I hope a great New Years for all…

Nice One. Must feel very satisfactory to actually physically see your end result of whatever you do - I live in the world of one and zeros so the end result is not immediately obvious or as easy to see and therefore not as obvious

:love1:

Just so you know the word is spelt Plenum :tu

plenum
(plē′nəm, plĕn′əm)
N.PL.
ple·nums or ple·na
  1. An assembly or meeting with all members present.
  2. A condition, space, or enclosure in which air or other gas is at a pressure greater than that of the outside atmosphere.

Hehe I had a minor fit at “Plenham” but did my best not to say anything!

They look great though. Do you paint the whole thing and then sand back the lettering?
