Hendrik,

They look fantastic mate...I wish I could take photos like that....what would I need to start off with....D80+....?

I have a Canon EOS 350D which I bought last November and the most important thing you need is patience.

My first pictures were crap, and I am not even joking, all the Users of the German messageboard I post on said that I should sell the camera again etc. that's how bad they were.

And then you just need time and patience and then the nice pictures will come very quickly.

It just takes time, passion and unfortunately money, because I only have the standard lense right now, but then you want to buy another one, and another one and another one and so on.. it gets very expensive.

But I love this hobby and I use my camera as much as I can, but I consider myself still a beginner to be honest!

Have a good weekend Chris.
