RM Auctions is offering 75 vehicles from the Andrews Collection, including rare American cars like Duesenbergs, a Cunningham and this 1963 Shelby 289 Competition Cobra, which happens to be the first Cobra racing car sold to the public. Somebody call Jay Leno!

This Shelby might not fetch as much as the "ultimate Cobra" just recently, but it sure as hell is a better car to drive and race. It also has a proper manual gearbox, as God intended.

The Andrews family put together quite a collection over the last few decades, with entrepreneur Paul Andrews's picking the best of the best while his children, Chris and the girls are taking them on various car rallies across the country. Everything from one-off Packards to a brand new '53 Cadillac, you can find in their garage, and now most of them are up for grabs.

The Ferrari 400 will go for a few mill. Cobra could be anywhere. 89 Turbo could be a bargain as its heavy on Yank Metal.

R&M Auctions boss Rob Myers ( last year at Hampton Court concours)......nice guy...if he could only auction Ferrari that's what he would do

Left on pic his auctioneer Max Girado
