Suggestions please...

Iain

Daily Smoker
In the process of updating all the marketing and handover materials and would value opinions as to corporate goodies....to come with all vehicles supplied.

Ive come up with .....

Quality Keyrings? similar to a RUF / Lamborghini

Umbrella in Boot?

Voucher for 150 (John Lewis or similar) for referral leading to sale?

Acrylic Mouse Mat or something for the desk???

Coffee Mugs?

anything else..................:)

Oh and I assume that these will be given out retrospectively for previous/recent clients ;)

On a serious note though - you really could improve things if you spent some time having an up-to-date stock web page etc...

Iain a tricky one.....

the umbrella would work well, as assuming it stays in the car it will always be useful and ideal marketing but anything else would merely have a very short shelf life...... and a high quality umbrella would be needed which would also ensure it is kept !

key is eomthing that a clinet would keep....... for a short while anyway....

a road driving course as a track day is very minority specific

Might be a tad expensive, but how about a car cover, can be fairly cheap for garaged cars maybe...

Personally, a quality keyring sounds best... but also some incentives to get you more work - the option of vouchers or trackday would cover all types of customers :)

It depends on what you are giving the things out for.

If it is to increase customer satisfaction, then giving something useful like the umbrella is a nice touch. It is not something you would necessarily expect to find.
Some screen wash concentrate would be useful, or de-icer, or frost scraper, or a chamois (synthetic or otherwise) or some car shampoo.
You could even consider a bluetooth headset.

If you include goodies worth too much, people may think that the price is too high. Since although it is "free", you are of course paying for it. Also if someone does not want it, they might want the cash instead. So I would think track vouchers or similar are a bad idea.

If it is to aid marketing, then mugs and mousemats are OK, but I am not sure people will use them. I get given them, and the mousemats are wither shoved in a cupboard or given away, and the mugs are put in the cupboard.

Keyrings are OK though, since these have more chance of being used, but not necesarily seen by other people. So you are only preaching to the converted.

Clothing is not so useful, since most people will probably not wear it, and you have issues over styles, male/female, size, etc.

A bottle of bubbly always goes down well. A keyring is useless to me, I always bin the dealer KRs and get a car specific one. Club ownership is noice 'cos they probably wont have thought of it, even PGt at a pinch...

My brother/sis-in-law have had their fair share of cars and were impressed when they got a bottle of champagne and some flowers from the dealer at handover. Is a nice gesture and went down well.

Then maybe follow up with a card in the post a month later wishing them well?

Umbrella would also be a nice touch.

How about a bespoke car cover with your logo on it discretely. Something i've never had but would have appreciated.. (Maybe only works for the sports cars as the 4wd are probably a bit too big to cover /uncover every night ?

Just a thought..

A year's free membership to the AA? ;)

Like the Umbrella and Bubbly idea, car club membership for a year will go down well aswell.
