Porsche 993 C4S detailed

Hi Guys

Here we have a 1996 Porsche 993 C4S that required some TLC. The car had been painted a few years ago but body shop didn't do a good job of finishing down the finish.

The usual wash and decontamination stage were carried out and then parts were removed such as light clusters, badges and the rear wing deck lid cover

I started with the Deck lid cover as I knew this would take a fair amount of time to get perfect

I then moved onto the rear decklid and rear end as this was the worst area on the car that would require the most work to get perfect

Here is a 50/50 showing the left side corrected (yet to be refined) after 2 stages of machine polishing and the right side untouched.

Paint was then given a wipedown with CarPro Eraser and then protected with Blackfire Wet Diamond AFPP. Tyres dressed with Gtechniq T1 and wheels sealed with Swissvax Autobahn

and the end result..

Thanks for looking

looks great work wise

however the turbo holes and spoiler spoil the car imho
I think they could be specced like this from new? There used to be a silver one in town back when they were new. I really loved the angry looks of it.

Great work, with a lovely deep gloss, what are you refining it with if you don't mind?

Thanks, this was refined with Megs 205 and then hit it with Gtechniq P2. Whilst 205 finished done well enough I knew P2 would make more of an improvement on the level of gloss achieved

Great detail, these guards red 993 C4S and C2S are double rare, I guess it was specked with the factory Turbo S body kit. Rather gave one with out tbh.

All S versions 2 or 4wd had the turbo wide body and spoiler optional however 4S had turbo suspension and brakes if my memory serves me right.

yep I owned one but this has the Turbo S body kit with the rear arch turbo air vents and the optional (only on C4S) Turbo rear spoiler.

What a mess that was in, great result...red looks so good when looked after.

993 C2S/C4S is one of my favourite ever Porsches, but the spoiler is naff and I don't like the Turbo S vents. :(
