More to come shortly :tu

George :)

Indeed. Have to say the Countach looks terrific, certainly not dated. I wonder if the Gallardo would look as good in 30 years time?

Is it fair to compare the countach with a gallardo though? Very very very different cars and the Gallardo is the 'baby lambo' so surely the Countach should be compared with a Murchi?

Not comparing performance or original price point or anything, just the design and it's longevity.

Your statement above implies that given the Gallardo is the 'baby' Lambo, it should be cut some slack with it's design or that Lamborghini reasonably didn't pull out all the stops? I disagree... with a brand like that every car should attempt to as bold to be an all time poster classic.

The 308 for example wasn't top of the Ferrari stable but still looks stunning sat next to a 430/458 (and makes a 599 or 612 look decidedly amateurish, as beautiful as they are in their own right)

Fantastic photography !! :tu ....one day I will get a decent snapper & understand how to take pictures like that.

You're totally right. I personally think that although the Countach looks outragous it is dated. Still beautiful though.

I think the Gallardo will date, but I can't see the LP versions looking dated too soon. They're a lot less conservative compared to the original Gallardos.

countach will always be mega after cannonball movie!!!

gallardo looks so dated to me? reckon its a shite drive too.

I think the Gallardo has aged very well. Still looks fresh today. Murci looks much more dated IMO.

I have seen kits cars with better build finish than a countash - you guys can't seriously think they are a good car can you ? they drive terrible as well IMO
