Kart racing at Forest Edge Kart Club 5th & 6th April

It's the 2nd round of the Forest Edge Kart Club championship this weekend at the Barton Stacey circuit near Andover if any of you guys fancy coming along for a good days racing.

We will have the urn on for free coffee & biscuits for all PureGt guys to help themselves

Well that was an interesting weekend

We started off in dry sunny conditions on the Saturday practice day and ended up driving in the pouring rain at the end of the day with both of them really flying

Then started the Sunday race day in freezing wet conditions and ended up doing the final in the dry with bright sunshine but only 1 deg C temp............crazy, we were chasing the kart set up all day

Anyway Jamie ended up with his best drive of the day coming through from starting 15th on the grid to finish 7th in the final which is only his second ever senior final race.

Jonny had a mixed day but did manage to qualify 8th on the grid for the final so was in with a chance of a good finish but got involved in a first corner fracas and ended up finishing 9th which isn't the end of the world

Looking forward to getting out and doing some testing down Clay Pigeon this week if we get the chance
