Ade,

Corner weighting would be charged as an extra one hour labour £80.50 inc vat.

Peter

Cheers - good to know/set expectations! :tu

Good deal. Certainly better than that crazy CoG chap who takes all flippin weekend to do a geo yet people love him up :out :wall:

how is this different to going to a normal specialist tyre yard like Protyre and getting them to do a 4 wheel laser alignment :dontknow: is your kit any different?

i had the camber check/adjusted on my 500 by them and inc adjustment (and fitting 4 tyres i had supplied) damage was less than £100

i got a printout as well showing the figures before and after

car had previously been corner weighted by SPAX when they fitted the coilovers

Top brake,

I wouldnt want to comment on the Protyre equipment because I dont know what they tend to use.The hunter DSP600 is one of the best on the market works with Hawkeye digital imaging sensors that mount to the outer rim between the tyre as in the picture.Within the software for the Hunter system we have listings for all standard alignment setups for pretty much any cars.Complete printouts with camber, caster, toes etc will be provided before and after highlighted in green if within spec or red out of spec.Hope this answers your questions

Thanks Peter

Chris Mullins tyres (where i got my 500 done) uses Hunter Hawk Eye kit as well, was just checking to see if there was any point in getting you to do my geo or if the kit it had already been done on was similar.

Well it depends how you find the car drives and how you use the car whether it be fast road or trackdays or just day to day would denote how to set the car up.By looking at the pictures the wheel alignment gear is similar to ours but looks like a model below or and earlier version. Our technician that does all the wheel alignments was EX F1 back in the day.

Peter, I'm assuming you can do any vehicle rather than just Porsche? BMW couldn't do mine with the Intrax fitted as they said it was too low.

Where abouts are you?

Would like to get mine done at some point,as my set up is as it came from Porsche, and it spins very easily when pushed on track, so could do with a bit more negative camber me thinks .

That ain't the set-up :finger

Snap oversteer mate, standard set-up is fine until you start to push it a bit, then it can be quite a handful if you're not ready for it.

Nords - Yes wee can do your car not a problem done quite a few BMW's recently latest was a CSL.We are in Warrington North West between Liverpool and Manchester.

Lighty - We can set your car up a lot better than when it left Porsche fast road/track use no no problem.

If your car is very low, it is a problem to get "the bats" onto the wheel. It gets perilously close to the arch.

We had a Hunter 600 at Silverstone and it is a fabulous piece of kit but the drawbacks are the getting the bats on the wheels on some cars.

I know that :D had lots of practice in my E36 M3 over the summer :tu
Nevertheless, my RS would be far more predictable with a more track orientated set up, as I must be only using 20% of the tyre tread at the moment.
