Hi all,
It's been a while since I have posted, I've been busy polishing!
I spent 15 hours on day 1 and a further 8 hours on day two getting the car better than brand new.
The car had been bombed by a pigeon and the clearcoat had been severely damaged. Wet sanding was involved and minimal amounts of clearcoat removed.
Here is a before:
Initially the vehicle's bodywork was washed and dried. The following items would do a great job at it:
Zaino Z-7 Show Car Wash
Ultra Safe Drying Towel
Lambswool Wash Mitt
Vehicle clayed with:
Zaino Z-18 Clay System
Wheels cleaned with:
R222 High Performance Wheel Gel Cleaner
Meguiars Deep Pile Microfibre Wash Mitt
Boars Hair Wheel Brush
The car looked like this pretty much all over, many scratches:
A picture showing myself working:
After the correction, no more marks:
A few afters, work completed and 23 hours of work on the exterior alone:
A before and after of the rear quarter:
Thank you for looking.
Regards
