Hi all,
Here is a small write up on a Porsche 993 I worked on a while back. Its an ocean blue wide bodied C2S variant.
Here are some before pictures.
Before pictures:
The vehicle's bodywork was washed and dried with the following items:
Zaino Z-7 Show Car Wash
Ultra Safe Drying Towel
Lambswool Wash Mitt
Wheels cleaned with:
R222 High Performance Wheel Gel Cleaner
Meguiars Deep Pile Microfibre Wash Mitt
Boars Hair Wheel Brush
The wheels were sealed with:
Zaino Z2 Pro
Vehicle clayed with:
Zaino Z-18 Clay System
Before picture of the scratched rear plastic lense:
After a bit of corrective work:
Before picture of the scratched and swirled Bonnet:
After paint correction on bonnet, no more nasty scratches:
Before picture of offside wing:
After paint correction offside wing:
Before nearside wing, left of the blue tape:
After paint correction, right of the tape:
50/50 shot of before and after. Look at the rectangular light reflection, the left of it is all hazy and scratched. To the right of it is how the paint is supposed to look.
A few afters, the wax choice on this car was the £7.2k jar of Royale Glaze.
