It's all a matter of comparison. You get performance and you get reasonable economy. Surely that is better than ignoring the whole "planet" thing.

I have the 450h and I get over 30mpg to the gallon, go thru town on the electric motor and also using no fuel and don't make a any noise about it. It can achieve over 36 mpg around town after it has warmed up as the first thing the car does is to get the engine to an optimum temperature and charge the batteries.

The boot is not as big as the standard GS but I get two large suit cases in mine plus two airplane carry on cases.

Maybe it isn't perfect but it's a step in the right direction.

It is not a gas guzzler.
