Hello.

Been a busy autumn so I've not done many write ups. A few new cars to see in our Portfolio though.

And we are still all over social media where you can see all the cars as we work on them.
.

We are also opening detailing studios in Southend, Essex and Foxton nr Cambridge where, if you haven't got a suitable garage, you can drop or transport you car for us to carry out our detailing work.

Finally, we are also now Gtechniq Accredited.
There are lots of new crystallising / ceramic / magic bean / emperors new clothes coatings coming onto the market these days. Gtechniq have been around since 2001 and have slowly but surely been making a range of long lasting protective coatings that really do work and look good. After years of trying many of these different coatings I've settled on Gtechniq. Their midrange coatings (C1 and Exo) are on par with the competition (Ixtar G3, Gyeon, Ceramic Pro, Modesta etc) But their flagship sealant 'Crystal Serum' is in my opinion the best sealant on the market today in terms of its chemical resistance and gloss retention.

You can get Crystal Serum applied from any accredited detailer and as of November 25th 2015, that includes us. (Gtechniqs website yet to be updated as of posting this)

Having said all of that... the next 3 cars were detailed prior to our Gtechniq accreditation :wall #PRFAIL

However all were treated with another product that will be remaining on our available products, Wolfs Bodyguard.

The main job I wanted to show was this brand new Guards Red Porsche Cayman GT4. The customer asked the supplying dealer NOT to carry out any prep on the car what so ever. This would hopefully minimise the potential for marking the non metallic paint.

Unfortunately once washed and put under the lights in the garage there were still a number of defects that needed correcting.

In fact we ended up polishing every panel. Some just required a single stage with a finishing polish but some areas, especially the bumper, required heavy cutting to remove the deeper scratches and / or sanding marks..

Just to prove I do work sometimes... Me polishing the wing.

After all that polishing the paint was finally perfect, which it should have been already seeing as the car was picked up, driven home, and left in the garage and not touched until our arrival. All the panels were wiped down with Spies Hecker 7010 Panel wipe / Silicon remover and checked after each polishing stage. This removes all oils and silicon that can be left from the polishing stage and which can mask very faint swirls. This way we can ensure we really are removing the marks and not just covering them up.

The paint and wheel faces were then protected with Wolfs Bodyguard. Glass treated with RainX. Rubber, plastics and tyres with Gtechniq T1. Interior materials with Gtechniq I1, L1 and C6

The finished car..

A few weeks earlier this non metallic black GT4 had received a very similar treatment all be it with slightly more polishing as the paint was in even worse condition.

And a few days before that this GT Silver car was detailed after a PPF installation at CG Performance. The paint on this car was so much better so only a couple of localised areas needed polishing.

As you can see, even brand new cars can benefit from our services and coupled with the market leading sealants we can now apply hopefully a few more of you will be in touch for a quote for all the new toys you have ordered :tu

More photos of all 3 cars can be seen in our portfolio which now works well on phone, tablet and desktop.

Thanks for reading.

Nathan Willits.

Top work as ever Nathan.

Will be in touch :tu

Great news your getting one!

Fantastic work. A couple of questions if I may? Any advise for cleaning an caring for gloss black wheels?

Thats just one question :)

Gloss black can mark very easily. Get some wheel sealant on them if possible. Then to clean I'd spray them with a wheel cleaner and instead of bushing straight away, I'd leave it for a minute and pressure rinse off. This SHOULD help remove larger particles that can marr the finish. Then spray them again and either brush them gently or use a dedicated wheel wash mitt that you have to then promise to ONLY use on the wheels and NEVER use it on the paint :)

Some suggested soft brushes..
