Hello.

Its been a very busy couple of months with around 30 cars being detailed. Here are just a few to show you.

Details of all of our services along with over 300 of the cars I've previously worked on can be seen on our website...

And we are still all over social media where you can see all the cars as we work on them

Firstly a couple of cars we have just finished this week in our new detailing studio which is situated inside the complex at Autostore on the outskirts of Cambridge. Autostore is a bit of a car lovers dream and we are pleased to offer a wide range of services on site.

Please feel free to contact either myself or Autostore directly for more details. Jonathan the owner should be along shortly to say hello as well.

First up is this Porsche 991 Carrera 2 GTS that came in for a full front end PPF fitment and then a Correction Detail on the un-PPF'd panels, and then Gtechniq CS Black coating. PPF application took place in the new PPF bay which provides the perfect warm, dust free and bright environment for getting the perfect fit.

I've been so busy that the amount of photos and before and after shots have really dropped off so just some pictures of the finished car.

This 991 C4S came in for exactly the same treatment, front end PPF, machine polishing and then Gtechniq CS Black coatings. On this car we also removed the wheels so they could be deep cleaned and sealed and the interior was given the Gtechniq protective coatings as well.

We were also asked to give this solid black Porsche 918 a once over polish for the showroom as the gloss black was looking very dull and faded from numerous 'dustings' while it was at the local OPC on display. It now shines away next to a few of the other cars they have available for purchase.

Back before the detailing bay was built as well we also carried out a new car protection detail on this Mercedes C Class Coupe. Many are puzzled by 'detailing' a new car but new cars are not always as clean as you expect so there is still much that can be done to truly make them perfect. Its also the best time to get the protection on so it can then easily be washed and maintained by the owner.

Dealers offer their own protective coatings and then get the in house valeters to just slap it on in around 1 hour. We spend 1-2 days properly prepping the car.

This car had around 2 hours of machine polishing to remove localised defects, then it was coated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum and Exo. The wheels were removed to be coated inside and out with Gtechniq C5, the glass was coated with Gtechniq G1 and the interior with Gtechniq I1 and L1.

Away from Autostore, we still work on a mobile basis for now and we still carry out details at Nick Phelps' place nr Tring.

First up his lovely 675LT which has been expertly wrapped in house. No idea what they call their PPF service now as CG Performance has closed down but name aside, Nick and Autostore are the only places I'm happy to recommend to my customers for PPF work.

We also gave the big loud blue SVR an Enhancement Detail so the paint matched the shine of the PPF.

And finally, another PPF job carried out by Nicks team on this GT3RS 4.0L. The car had old PPf already applied to the front so this was carefully removed and then the whole car was wrapped with Suntek PPF before being protected with Wolfs Bodyguard sealant on the body and Gtechniq G1 on the glass.

Hi Nathan - all looks great mate. Just a shame you won't book me in!! :D :D

Sorry Cem. How are you enjoying the GT3.

April and May were crazy and I'm still going through a back log of emails and booking work in. I'll send you an email (same address I presume?)

Lovely work, Gtechniq certainly seems like an awesome product.

Applied properly it looks great and gives great protection. Its no substitute for properly polishing the paint still but it will give it pretty much the best protection out there once it is polished.

A couple more that received Gtechniq treatments recently.

This brand new Focus RS came in for a New Car Detail with Gtechniq Crystal Serum and EXO coatings as well as G1 long life rain repellant for the glass.

We have also just completed this Mercedes C63 AMG Edition 507. The car underwent an Enhancement Detail with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and C2, again with the G1 glass coatings.

Please click on any of the photos to see the full set.

Any any questions feel free to post them up here.

Black M3 CSL and a Black 997 GT2RS in next week, both for sale as well.

My apologies. I'd sent you a quote after you saw the 355 I posted? Usually as well, Nick will contact me direct if there is a car that needs detailing as his schedule often moves around a lot, so he can keep me up to date with when a car would need doing. I have 1 booked with him next week but there was no mention of yours I'm afraid.

If you still need work doing please email me at nathan@cambridgeautogleam.com and let me know when you need to collect the car and I will see if I can still fit it in.

Apologies again for the communication break down.

No probs Nathan.

Have made other plans now, but happy to use you next time. Cheers.

Ok, apologies again. I need a secretary :) Sometimes when polishing all day and emails coming in I miss flagging something to reply to later.

Hope the alternated plans work out well and I'm sure Nick is doing a super job on your car.
