Cambridge Autogleam: McLaren 720S. What a ball ache to polish!

It obviously wasn't designed with detailers in mind was it! :duh:

Hello. I thought seeing as I'm still paying for advertising and a forum section for detailing I would say hello. Obviously I've still been on here but only really posting in my unofficial, self appointed role of Autostore Ambassador :yeah:

95% of my time is still spent detailing though and its been another crazy year, so much so that I didn't even post a single thing in this section during 2017.

I've got back to creating some videos of my work. As cringe worth as they are, they were actually a brilliant source of work and I noticed a dramatic increase in enquires when I was making them, which tailed off when I stopped.

The latest few are here for anyone interested.

Was lucky enough to be able to do a little tour of Vietnam / Cambodia / Thailand early 2017 which was amazing. Loved Vietnam, want to go back and explore it more.

Koh Yao Yai, Thailand, felt like what I guess Thailand was like 20-30 years ago before it got over run with tourists.

There are excerpts from the trip at the end of each of the detailing videos... again for anyone interested.

Had some great cars in for detailing recently and got a Carrera GT due in this week as well, not worked on one of those for a few years now so will be nice to get up close with one again. Most are on my instagram (https://www.instagram.com/cambsautogleam/) and will be on my new website when its completed.

I'll leave you with the McLaren 720S.. just because its cool. This had PPF fitment, enhancement polishing, gtechniq crystal serum ultra, gtechniq exo, wheels off with gtechniq c5, gtechniq g1 on the glass and gtechniq i1 and l1 interior coatings.... basically everything!

Interestingly this car has had to have its rear bumper re painted twice because the exhaust bubbled the paint around the exits. Anyone else having this?

And from one difficult car to detail to another...
