M - Up to a medium saloon car size
L - Large saloon car and 4x4 size

This costs a little more than a 'Used Car Protection Detail' as we typically spend 1-2 hrs checking and machine polishing the paint in localised areas.
New cars are rarely delivered with perfect paint. Then dealers normally try to sell you a 'lifetime' protection package that cost them very little and is applied quickly and with little care. Applied poorly, the application can cause more damage to the paint meaning your new car is handed to you looking like its already seen numerous poor hand car washes. To make matters worse the 'lifetime' protection rarely lasts for the quoted duration.
For a similar price to what the dealers will charge for this poor service, you can instead let us properly inspect your new cars paint, machine correct any localised areas that require it, apply a quality sealant or wax that gives a realistic and honest level of 4-6 months protection and hand the car to you in the best possible condition.

Although this takes less time and is cheaper than our enhancement and correction details where we use a machine polisher, we can still greatly improve the look of your car by deep cleaning and protecting every surface. If the car requires it we use, by hand, a product on the paint that leaves a thin layer of masking fillers that greatly enhances the surface gloss. When locked in with the protective layer, the overall improved appearance and protection lasts up to 4 months. For cars that do not require this (for instance a car that has near perfect paint but just requires a deep clean) we use a paint cleanser, again by hand, that leaves no masking fillers but simply cleans the paint in preparation for the protective layer
Perfect if you car is not that old and does not yet need machine paint correction, or if you dont mind the odd swirl mark but still want the car shiny and protected, or for track day cars where the paint needs a lot of cleansing but does not require machine paint correction.

In this detail, after the usual wash and decontamination process the paint is given a 1 stage machine correction using a finishing polish and a soft pad leaving a hi gloss, hologram free finish. Although this is often not enough to remove all the swirl marks in the paint, it does make a dramatic improvement to the paint over and above the 'protection' details by actually removing (rather than just masking) the finer swirl marks, light oxidisation and haze that rob the paint of its clarity. Under close inspection in showroom conditions, deeper marks will remain but in most other lighting conditions, the improvement this detail gives makes it a popular choice for cars that live outside or where cost is an issue and total perfection is not required.
Where as the masking / filling products used in the protection detail are a temporary fix that will need repeating over time, machine paint correction lasts for as long as the car is well cared for. Wash you car well and the swirls will not return

After the usual wash and decontamination process the paint is given a multi stage machine correction where we aim to remove every mark possible (where paint depth allows).
Whilst this detail can be carried out at any point in the car's life, it is common for our customers to book it just after buying a used car, or just prior to selling one. Detailing a used car can help deliver that ‘new car’ experience often missing from a used car purchase. Similarly, before putting the car up for sale it often pays to book this detail and make your car stand out from the crowd. The result is your car will sell quicker and for a greater value, often more than making up for the cost of the detail. You can even use our photos in your advert.
As with the enhancement detail, the machine correction in this detail is a long lasting improvement. As long as you look after the car well and wash it carefully then the perfect paint finish can last for many years.

More interested in driving than cleaning??
For those that dont want to have to worry about the ongoing aesthetic maintenance, once we have completed one of the details above we can return and keep your car looking its best all year round.
After a careful wash we apply another coat of protection, clean the interior, re apply glass sealants and leather conditioner and leave the car as it was when we first detailed it. Some customers have this done on a monthly or bi-monthly basis, the more regular the better the car will look. We suggest leaving it no longer than 4-6 months between top ups, depending on the cars use and storage conditions. Although the initial protection may still be in place beyond this, any longer than 4-6 months and your paint will have picked up too many contaminates for the top up to be effective and you would instead be better off choosing our protection detail where we can re cleanse the paint.
