OK we have a lightweight wheel solution for anyone interested-
To get things in to perspective we have replaced these as a package and saved a total of 22 KGs!
We got rid of the heavy Xbow wheel and 1.4 kg centrelock adapter and bolt also.
We replaced them with Compomotive MO6 lightweight, ultra strong (tarmac rally wheel). 10x18 rear and 17x8 front. So they are even bigger by half inch all round.
We will be offereing these as a package with either Dunlop slicks or Toyo R888's and the price will follow but to give you a clue the wheels will cost about £50 per wheel more than the standard ones. They are exclusive to Backdraft Motorsport.
These will fit cars that take 5 bolt or centre lock as standard without any modification as the centrelock is just a decorative adapter rather than a proper motorsport centrelock hub.
