Aston Martin V12 Vantage and Aston Martin DBS detailed

Busy few weeks! Yesterday we were down in central london working on a brand new Lightning Silver V12 Vantage. Stunning car with an amazing sports exhaust that made you jump on start up.

Being a new Aston Martin there were the usual poorly polished wet sanded areas, most notable of which was a quarter of the roof!! It looks like the rear end could have been caught when fitting the rear glass so they blew in that corner and then taped up the roof into quarters and sanded the nearside rear quarter..... and then just not bothered to polish it back up!! TUT TUT Aston!

Polishing of the affected areas (roof, boot, bumpers, sills, lower doors, wings, arches) took around 6 man hours. Happily the rest of the paint was finished well and was swirl free.

The paint was then treated to HD Cleanse and then 2 coats on Vintage wax while other dressings were applied and the interior detailed etc.

Finished photos...

Todays job was back at Aston Martin in Cambridge. They were so happy with the DBS Volante I did for them a few weeks back they asked me to prep this 09 plate coupe ready for its new owner.

Being a used car there were lots of swirls and yes... the usual Aston horror story of DA sanding marks pretty much everywhere!

Well done!

You should open a shop in Dubai! For some reason people there think that having someone dust the car every 30 minutes with a sandy duster makes the car look better... ;)

Hi there,

The Silver Vantage V12 is a stunner, currently one of my favourite cars. You have done a great job on the detail, the owner must be grinning like a cheshire cat.

DBS is lush as well.

Regards

Tim
